Today (3 Oct 2024), Mr. Pongpol Yodmuangcharoen, spokesman for the Ministry of Industry, revealed that Mr. Ekkanat Promphan, Minister of Industry, has ordered the Department of Industrial Works (DIW) to collect data and verify facts to support the exemption of annual fees for Category 2 and Category 3 factories. Based on data on flooded areas in 57 provinces, it is estimated that Category 2 and Category 3 factories will be exempted from annual fees totaling 35,108 factories, worth over 176 million baht.
